What do you really need?

What do you really need?

"This is the fifth seminar on this topic already and nothing has really changed!" OK: Yet again another seminar with better trainers? Simply more of the same thing?

When things aren't moving in any or even the right direction, this is not the fault of the participants or the trainer - the problem lies within the system. There is something 'obstructing' the process chain - the notorious neutralisers.

Typical systemic blockages are for example: A secret opinion leader who opposes the change in the background, the management demands A but actually pursues (subconsciously) B. One actual example: One managing director of a medium-sized company demanded "consistent customer orientation" - whilst his sales manager continued to park his BMW on the customer parking space in front of the main entrance. Not surprising, even the third customer orientation seminar in series fell on deaf ears among the workers ...

Where are the hidden neutralisers in your management team? Let's take a look and find out.

One thing is clear: As long as the systemic blockages have not been removed, any further training is simply a waste of good money as no changes can be realised and no ambitious goals achieved.
